I was fortunate enough to stumble upon performance art at the Tate Modern in London, that was inspired by the daily morning sweeping of temples that happens all across Asia. Having grown up in India and visited, Bali and Thailand, I was captivated by this and took hundreds of pictures. I have tried to capture the focus, grace and humility of the artistes as well as to convey the act of devotion and service that this task conveys.
