Local neighborhood scenes like this demand to be painted. I love the long, blue shadows and the oak leaves refusing to drop. Most people see grays, browns, and white. I love the nuance in hue and value. It's inspired me to create. I picked up pastels earlier this year and it's hard to put them down.
