This pastel is done on Pastelmat with Schmincke and Terry Ludwig pastels. It is a gift for my son-in-law for Christmas. After seeing his brother and his daughters together, I realized that Lou’s wonderful disposition is a family trait. The sweetness can’t be disguised. Lou is always saying to me about my daughter, “The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.” No, it doesn’t.
