The Old Apple Tree

I was walking the Windham Path in a fallow season and was intrigued by all the soft earth tones and the pattern of the sky reflected in the water of the marshy area. The old apple tree stood alone like a sentinel in the field. And of course the gentle curves of the Catskill Mountains in the background create depth and distance.
