Batavia Kill in Ashland, NY

I had driven by this curve in the creek before and made a mental note to stop before all the trees lost their leaves. Finally I had an opportunity one afternoon, pulled off the road and took several photos. I like the curve of the creek here and the dramatic contrast between the sunlit colorful deciduous trees and the dark pines in shadow, with the bright reflection in the water in the midst of the shadows.
