A favorite picture of gum trees on an outback walk. The varying depth of colors on the trees are always impressive and needed a serious try. UArt mounted on acid free foam core for stability. Nupastel and pastel underpainting with alcohol and brush to guide the image - orange under tree greens, pink for sky and distant mountains. Initial work was background and foreground. Water and trees done in multiple layers of detail and Eggplant TL changed the trees darken areas. Another push on my skills and valuable experience.
