"Robin's Egg" is a still life painted in soft pastel with a dominant blue-and-white color scheme. The painting includes a variety of objects, many of which are vintage finds in my own collections. The color accent is the sharp yellow of lemons, but the title egg is the only object in the entire painting that is aqua instead of blue, white, or blue-and-white.
