Those velvet petals! Who can resist the touch and the memory of a rose, its velvet softness, its tender smell, its forever beauty even after it dries out? I even had the pleasure of eating rose petals on a salad grown by an organic farm lady who had the most beautiful chickens and chicken eggs, roses, and all manner of organic garden delights. I wish I had thought to take pictures of her farm.
