A view from the clipper in the Puget Sound stole my imagination regarding the culture, geography, people, and beauty of the area. A lovely lady with dual citizenship was a passenger beside me. All my senses were fully engaged that morning, and my neighboring passenger was peeling an orange which called out to my olfactory senses, and I asked her if I could have her peelings to smell on the journey. I am sure she thought I was crazy, but this opened up another experience in that I was fortunate to be able to hear her story about her life in Canada.
