This piece was developed from a sense of play. Experimenting with navy and green acrylic ink and water, a very loose impressionistic underpainting was created of this tree lined oath deep in the Okehocking Preserve in Chester County, PA. The scene was then further developed by layering soft pastels over top, reacting to the natural shapes, and building up the local color of the scene.
