Inspired by a beautiful evening in Okehocking Preserve, this painting began on Uart 500 pastel paper with a blue and green acrylic ink underpainting to create the values of the scene. Soft pastels were then layered over top, building up the local color to showcase the beautiful vibrancy of the last glimpses of sunlight and their effects on the meadow.
