I realized I love to paint flowers back lite, and this was the case. Glacial roses a white, but with all the light coming from behind, hardly any pure white is showing, especially in this case when it was an inside setting and there was not a lot of bouncing light from the sky. I enjoy painting what I call, " all the hues of white".
