Using a variety of pastels I used a homemade surface coated with Art Spectrum Clear Gesso on a Black Fiberboard surface creating thick texture in places to accentuate the three-dimensional quality of the waterfall. I chose a complimentary limited palette of yellow and violets to create a mood.
