The portrait of Poppy was a unique challenge as it was commissioned during the Covid pandemic when it wasn't safe to meet with clients in person. I created this unique pose from imagination using multiple client photos as reference. The skin was created by starting with a green value scale on La Carte Pastel Card and then finishing the skin tones with peaches and pinks. This portrait is just bursting with the subject's personality!
